Company Profile - RE/MAX of the Battlefords

The franchise RE/MAX of the Battlefords, was first established in North Battleford on Nov 12, 1987. Mike Steirt was the first owner and his Broker was Bill Taylor. The first location was the old Hunter's building on 101st Street. The office started with three Sales Agents.

The franchise later moved to the mall at 1471 100th Street. On July 1, 1993 the business was sold to Phillip Hoffort. Archie Robinson joined Phil Hoffort as a business partner.

On November 1, 1998 the franchise was sold to Roger Manegre. Roger was born and raised in the Battlefords and previously ran a successful insurance agency in Cut Knife. In the summer of 2000 the franchise was relocated to its present location of 1391-101th Street. An office was also located in the Territorial Mall and this location was subsequently closed and a stand alone kiosk was set up to display the real estate listing in the Battlefords and surrounding area.

On November 28, 2008, RE/MAX of the Battlefords established a Branch Office in Meadow Lake. The RE/MAX of the Battlefords-Meadow Lake office currently has 5 sales associates covering the northwest region of Saskatchewan.

On May 1, 2010 Brian Maunula purchased 100% of the RE/MAX of the Battlefords franchise as well as the Meadow Lake office. Brian has 31 years banking experience with a majority at a senior executive level. Brian has lived in the Battlefords for the past 11 years and has been actively involved in many community activities.
